Fareham Live's panto runs 11 December to 3 January, with Anne Hegerty as the villain. The £16 seats cover three performances only. Every date and price.

Fareham Live’s pantomime this Christmas is Jack and the Beanstalk, running Friday 11 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027. Anne Hegerty, the Governess from ITV’s The Chase, plays the villain Poison Ivy. Josiah Eloi returns as the Dame.

There are 38 performances. The lowest price is £16, and it applies to only three of them, all on the opening weekend. Most of the run starts at £22 or £25, and the peak performances start at £28.

There is no performance on Monday 14, Tuesday 15 or Friday 18 December, on Christmas Day, or on New Year’s Day. There are two shows on Christmas Eve, at 1pm and 5pm, and both are in the top price band.

Discounts, and which performances they work on

Fareham Live publishes the small print, and the restrictions matter more than the headline prices.

  • Concessions for under 16s, over 60s, students and the unemployed are valid on all Value and Standard performances, plus seven Popular ones: 27 December 1pm and 5pm, 29 December 1pm and 5pm, 30 December 1pm and 5pm, and 31 December 1pm. ID may be required.
  • Family of four tickets need a minimum of two under 16s and run on the same list of performances, subject to availability.
  • Groups of 10+, 20+ and 40+ get specific rates, valid on Value and Standard performances plus three Popular evening shows: 27, 29 and 30 December at 5pm. Group bookings go through the enquiry form or 0343 310 0077, seat restrictions can apply, and group rates cannot be combined with another concession.
  • Schools pay £13 per student with a free teacher place for every 10 students, on four performances only: Wednesday 16 December at 10am and 1.30pm, and Thursday 17 December at 10am and 1.30pm. Book on 0343 310 0077.
  • Priority Live members get £2 off per ticket, on all seats for the opening weekend and on all Value performances. Membership is £45 a year across Trafalgar’s venues, so it only pays for itself on a large booking.

Access performances

Imagine Theatre, which produces the show, lists two access performances at Fareham Live, both on the same day:

  • Signed performance: Monday 28 December, 1pm
  • Relaxed performance: Monday 28 December, 5pm

There is no audio described or captioned performance in the Fareham run. Note that 28 December is also one of the cheaper days, at £22.

Fareham Live offers a free essential companion ticket for patrons with access requirements, subject to availability, bookable by phone on 0343 310 0022, by email at BoxOffice.Fareham@trafalgar.global or in person at the box office (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm). Wheelchair spaces, six in the front stalls and two in the tiered stalls, are held off sale on the website, so they have to be booked by phone or in person.

Getting there and parking

Fareham Live is on Osborn Road, Fareham PO16 7DB, just north of the town centre. The venue’s own visitor information gives:

  • Roughly 15 minutes’ walk from Fareham railway station, and under 10 minutes from Fareham bus station.
  • Around 1,400 parking spaces within walking distance, all of them run by Fareham Borough Council rather than the theatre, and free after 6pm.
  • Three pay and display car parks immediately behind and next to the venue, with blue badge spaces.
  • If you are coming off the A27, the venue suggests Market Quay car park and the covered pedestrian route through the shopping centre, which is open every evening until 11.30pm.

That free-after-6pm rule matters for the 5pm and 7pm shows: a 1pm matinee is inside charging hours, an evening show mostly is not. Our parking in Fareham page has the tariffs. Check roadworks and travel if you are driving in from the motorway, because the M27 junction 10 works are still closing slip roads and occasionally full carriageways into the autumn.

For young performers: auditions on 19 September

Fareham Live is casting the show’s Junior Ensemble at auditions on Saturday 19 September 2026, open to performers aged 9 to 16. The auditions focus on dance and performance, with no singing required, and children are taught a routine on the day, so nothing needs preparing in advance. Two teams will appear through the run.
