Four displays around Fareham: Cams Hall on 30 October, Whiteley on 1 November, AFC Portchester on 6 November, Wickham on 7 November. None is on the 5th.

Bonfire night 2026 falls on Thursday 5 November, and not one of the four displays around Fareham is on that night. A midweek fifth pushes organised displays onto the weekends either side, and this year the borough’s spread runs from Friday 30 October to Saturday 7 November.

Fareham Borough Council does not run a fireworks display. Its own events and things to do 2026 page lists the council’s programme for the year, and it goes straight from Motors and Melodies on 12 September to the Christmas lights switch on. Everything below is run by a club, a town council or a volunteer group.

Cams Hall Estate, Friday 30 October

The Club at Cams Hall Estate opens its Fireworks Night on Friday 30 October 2026, the night before Halloween. The club’s own page gives gates at 5pm and fireworks at 7.45pm, and describes funfair rides, food, music, “spooky Halloween surprises” and the display itself.

Two practical points the club does publish: under 3s go free, and “parking is available on a first come first serve basis”. The venue is Portchester Road, Portchester, Fareham PO16 8UP.

No price appears on the event page. The ticket selector on the club’s own site shows a running total of £0.00 until you pick a ticket type, so the only way to see what an adult or child pays is to start a booking. We have not published a figure here because the club has not published one.

Whiteley, Sunday 1 November

Whiteley Town Council lists its fireworks on the front page of its own website as “4.15pm Sunday 1st November Fireworks (ticketed event)”. It is the only entry in the council’s 2026 events list marked as ticketed: the page says “Events free to all except Fireworks”.

The venue is Meadowside Recreation Ground. The town council’s Welcome to Whiteley page explains the arrangement: “Two big events are held by the Town Council in partnership with The Rotary Club of Whiteley: Meadowside Music Festival and Whiteley Fireworks.”

Tickets are sold through TicketSource. We could not read a 2026 price. TicketSource blocks automated access to its listing pages, and the town council does not carry the price on its own site, so anyone who wants the figure will have to open the TicketSource listing themselves. The council’s page also does not give a display time, only the 4.15pm start of the evening.

AFC Portchester, Friday 6 November

This is the borough’s biggest annual display, and the one that sells out. AFC Portchester’s own events page gives it as “Family Fireworks and Laser Show Friday November 6th, from 6pm” at the OnSite Group Stadium, Cranleigh Road, Portchester PO16 9DP.

The club’s ticket listing runs the evening 6pm to 10pm and describes a traditional display combined with a laser show, a spook room for children, four bars, food and drink kiosks, covered standing and seated areas, and indoor space to watch from if the weather turns. There is a VIP section with a dedicated viewing area and refreshments.

On price, the listing says only this: “Ticket prices have been held at the same level as last year but be quick, this event always sells out so buy your tickets before they are all gone.” For last year’s level, Visit Hampshire’s listing for the 2025 edition, now marked as passed, gave £10 adult, £6 under 18, £30 for a family bundle of two adults and two under 18s, £15 VIP adult and £10 VIP under 18. Treat those as the 2025 figures the organiser says it has held, not as a published 2026 price list.

One change worth noting if you went last year: the 2025 display was on Halloween itself, Friday 31 October, and the club’s own preview article leaned on that. In 2026 Halloween is a Saturday and the club has moved to the Friday after bonfire night instead.

Wickham, Saturday 7 November

A Family Bonfire and Fireworks Display is listed for Saturday 7 November 2026 at Glebe Field, off School Road, Wickham, organised by the 1st Wickham Scout Group, with gates at 6pm, the bonfire at about 6.30pm and fireworks at about 7pm.

This one comes with a caveat we are not going to hide. Those details are from an AllEvents listing attributed to the scout group, and we could not find the group’s own published confirmation. 1st Wickham Scout Group has no website we could reach, and Wickham and Knowle Parish Council publishes nothing about it. The listing quotes adults £5, children £2, under 3s free. Check before you travel.

Wickham has a Fareham postal address but sits in the Winchester City Council area, not Fareham borough, which is why it appears on no Fareham council list.

Titchfield Carnival is not coming back

Every autumn this question comes round. The Titchfield Carnival, the procession, funfair, bonfire and fireworks run by the Titchfield Bonfire Boys Society, ran annually from 1880 to 2016, missing only the two world wars and 2007. It was cancelled in September 2017 and has not run since.

The reasons were given at the time by the society’s own chairman, Angela Mayne, in The News: “It got too big and completely unmanageable. We had a lot of problems last year and it was decided by the AGM that this year’s event was cancelled.” She added that it had become “a health and safety risk”. The 2016 edition had drawn crowds of up to 7,000, with two processions and a funfair.

Nothing has replaced it on the same scale. The society’s old website, titchfieldbonfireboys.co.uk, no longer resolves at all. Titchfield’s current village events are run by a separate Titchfield Village Events Committee, formed by volunteers in 2022 after that year’s Platinum Jubilee fayre, and its annual fixture is a May fayre, not a November carnival.

Getting there and parking

Three of the four displays are at venues with their own site parking, and all three warn that it fills. Cams Hall says parking is first come, first served.
